The company helps clients meet wide-ranging research needs through study design and management, literature review and synthesis, needs assessment, environmental scans, best practices, policy development and analysis, and knowledge exchange and application of research findings in the “real world.”

Achievements & Partners

Identified funding priorities for the Public Health Agency of Canada's (PHAC's) emerging Innovation Fund by highlighting and synthesizing key findings and promising practices from national projects supported by PHAC's Population Health Fund. Developed a National Consultation Framework to guide consultations related to priority funding areas with wide-ranging stakeholders across Canada.

Researched methods to build capacity for population health and health services research in British Columbia, based on broad consultation with the research and academic communities, leading to a widely-distributed white paper with recommendations for change.

Worked to mitigate prescription drug-related problems among the elderly population through the development and management of two research studies that examined medication issues among (i) seniors living in intermediate care facilities in the urban setting, and (ii) seniors living independently in the community.

Researched and established a core set of measurement indicators for the systematic reporting of diabetes across Canada, representing one of several initiatives to support improved management of diabetes nationwide.

Worked to improve rehabilitation services for people living with chronic lung disease through a multi-stakeholder initiative, which included a provincial consensus-building conference and development of the “Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service and Research Plan for British Columbia.”
